Yodel Credential allows agencies to preserve existing barcode credentials while linking them to a live digital record. Yodel has converted more than 100,000 physical barcodes into active Yodel Credentials, helping agencies reduce administrative workload, improve operational visibility, and offer recipients the option of using the same credential on their phone.
The approach is practical: maintain existing processes and strengthen them with digital structure.

Moving QR code plus the color and code change makes the E-Card check in screen impossible to copy, video tape or recreate.
The pass has date and time as an additional method to verify.
Unlike other digital passes, when expired, there is no check in screen with a QR code available.

Yodel Credential links each physical barcode to a centralized digital profile within Yodel. That profile governs activation status, expiration, permissions, and validation history.
Credentials can be created and managed in multiple ways:
Credentials can be activated or deactivated instantly without retrieving physical badges. Role changes and seasonal transitions are managed digitally.
Staff scan credentials using the same devices already used for ticketing and parking. Each scan confirms active status and records the event.
Management gains a clearer understanding of credential usage across facilities, gates, and event days.
When a physical credential is linked—or a digital-only credential is issued—the recipient is notified by SMS or email with a secure link to access their credential. They may continue using a physical card or add the credential to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Both formats reference the same underlying digital record.

Agencies deploying Yodel Credential have reduced printing budgets by 50 to 100 percent by shifting appropriate credential groups to digital issuance while preserving physical formats where needed.

Implementation is structured but straightforward.
Because Yodel Credential operates within the same platform as ticketing, parking, and passes, agencies avoid introducing a separate badge management system.
