Digitally delivered Yodel Passes have both a moving QR code and a changing code and color. Staff have a digital device that shows the correct code and color so that they can look at the passes and identify fraudulent passes immediately.
It is impossible to copy or duplicate a Yodel Pass.

Yodel E-Card: Visual Validation with Yodel Ranger App
Staff are able to use a mobile device with Yodel Ranger app to confirm a pass is valid. Yodel Ranger can be used to visually validate that the patron's pass matches the code and color on the Visual Validator (H55 with green background).

In addition to a moving QR code, Yodel Passes have a unique code with a changing background color (two factor authentication) and the date. These multiple verification factors eliminate fraud.
Yodel E-Card: Scanning with Yodel Ranger App
QR Code Scan
The Ranger app can scan the QR code to confirm that the patron has paid or has a valid membership. If the pass is a screen shot or a video, the Ranger will identify it as invalid. If code on the Pass is valid but is for a different location, the Ranger will advise that the Pass may be for a different location.
License Plate Scan
The Yodel Ranger app can be used to scan license plates to confirm that the patron has paid for parking. The Ranger app will indicate if the pass is not valid and will display "Unpaid."

Yodel Pass Self Service Parking Pass Purchase
Patrons can purchase parking passes in advance via the Yodel Pass System. The passes are digitally delivered to the patron's mobile device. Patrons are asked to provide only the info needed for the sale (such as mobile phone number, email, and payment info.).
Patrons can also see capacity information so that they can decide whether or not they want to go to the venue.
Yodel Mobile Cashier for Attended Booth
If you need a fast and simple way to sell parking passes at the venue entrance, then the Yodel Mobile Cashier is the perfect solution.
Staff use a mobile device with the Yodel Cashier installed, providing flexibility for staff to be inside or outside of a booth.
The Cashier can accept both cash and credit cards.
Yodel Automation for Gated Entrance
Patrons can purchase parking passes in advance via the Yodel System. These can be daily, weekend, weekly, monthly, seasonal, or annual.
When the patron is at the entrance gate, they use their Yodel Pass to open the gate via a QR code reader.
If the pass is not valid, then the gate does not open. In this situation, staff can sell a parking pass via the Yodel Mobile Cashier.
No citations are issued, enforcement is by gating.
Yodel Automation for Gated Exit
The entrance is unattended and patrons go to the parking lot, where they find a spot and pay by plate.
When the patron is at the exit gate, they use their Yodel Pass to open the gate via a QR code reader (same approach as the entrance gate)
If the pass is not valid or if they have not purchased a pass, then the gate does not open. In this situation, staff can sell a parking pass via the Yodel Mobile Cashier.
As an option, LPR cameras can be installed at the entrance so that staff can issue warning to patrons that have not purchased a pass. This is easily accomplished by using the unpaid list that is provided by the Yodel Ranger app on staff's mobile devices

Yodel Automation for Unattended Parking Lot
License Plate Reading (LPR) devices capture vehicle plates entering and leaving the premises. This allows staff to understand capacity in the parking lot via the Yodel Ranger app.
Customers drive through an unattended entrance and pay by plate using Yodel on their mobile device when they park their cars.
Staff can issue warning to patrons that have not purchased a pass. This is easily accomplished by using the unpaid list that is provided by the Yodel Ranger app on staff's mobile devices (Above)
When the patron is at the exit gate, their plate and car are captured so that citations can be issued to unpaid vehicles.
