Introducing the Town of Babylon Yodel Portal

Dear Town of Babylon Resident:

We are excited to announce that there is a new mobile beach permit option for residents to purchase Town of Babylon Beach Permits.

***Please be aware, this is not a physical pass. This is a mobile pass on your smartphone.***

Permits can be purchased via this link to the Yodel Portal (https://yodelportal.com/tob)  or you can download the Yodel App.

The Yodel Portal can be used on a desktop or a mobile device.

  • Desktop: Permits purchased on your desktop are automatically available in the Yodel Portal Wallet on your mobile device.

  • Mobile Device:  There is no need for an App download from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The Yodel Portal link can be saved to the home screen of your  mobile device.

What are the benefits of the Yodel Portal?

  • The Portal has an intuitive user interface enabling you to apply for and purchase beach permits.
  • The Portal can be used on a desktop or on a mobile device, so that you have the same experience on both. 
  • The permit has virtual back of card information about your permit. If there are any special circumstances, they can be communicated by staff on the back of the card.
  • There is a link for support on the upper right hand side of the Portal. The link directs you to instructions on how to use the Portal as well as a form you can use to reach out to the Yodel Pass Support team for any questions you may have.

Are all the permits that are on the Yodel App also available on the Yodel Portal?

Yes. All the same permits are available on the Yodel Portal (https://yodelportal.com/town-of-babylon) and on the Yodel App. 

Where can I find the permits purchased on the Yodel App or Yodel Portal?

Passes purchased on the Yodel app or Yodel Portal will appear in the Yodel wallet.  When using a mobile device, the pass in the Yodel wallet can be shown to staff for validation. If you do not have a mobile phone, then you can print your Yodel ID and show it to staff for validation.
